Hi, I’m Rebecca.

Based in NYC.

Previously: SF // Boston // Berlin // Paris.

I love

✴ Learning and reading

✴ Tinkering with frontier AI

✴ Meeting new people and diving deep into their life stories

✴ Cultural exchange through language, music, and dance

✴ Building communities for niche interests

✴ Nerding out over science papers

I work

To bring new products and communities to life. These days, I’m building Suno (generative music) and Sapienne (women’s AI operator collective). Before that, I built interactive learning products at Duolingo.

In a prior life, I studied and conducted neuroscience & behavioral economics research and invested in biotech and AI startups through Aspect Ventures, Schmidt Futures, and Nucleate.

I seek

New voices and collaborators in the worlds of AI, art, synthetic biology and robotics, and more.

These days, I’m especially interested in Mongolian folk music (I’m working on a Mongolian-inspired techno album), surrealist aesthetics (film and poetry), the importance of live events and IRL gathering, the format of education post-AI, and applications of AI in synthetic biology, neuroscience, and robotics.
